Thomas Elmore “Tom” Russell was b. Sept. 2, 1877 in Greenville, SC and d. March 29, 1938. He md. abt. 1899 to Roxie Peace. Roxie Peace was b. April 7, 1882 in Henderson Co., NC and d. January 18, 1938 in Saluda, Henderson Co., NC. They are both buried in Mountain Page Cemetery in Henderson County, NC.
Thomas Elmore “Tom” Russell was the son of Elijah Mitchel Russell (Sept. 7, 1851-Jan. 20, 1934) and Celia Hassie Beddingfield (May 15, 1854-Aug. 17, 1937). Elijah Mitchel Russell and Celia Hassie Beddingfield md. Nov. 27, 1871 in Henderson County NC and are both buried at Old Mtn. Page Cemetery in Henderson Co., NC
Roxie Peace was the daughter of Joseph E. Peace (Mar. 18, 1864-May 31, 1949) and Sarah Elizabeth “Lizzie” Gordon (Dec. 25, 1860-April 20, 1930). Joseph was born in SC, Lizzie was born at the Forks of Pigeon, Haywood Co., NC They md. Sept. 21, 1886 at the Alson Gordon home in Henderson County, NC and are both buried at Mtn. Page Baptist Chuirch in Saluda, NC.
