UNC Greensboro is presenting: Horror Throughout History
Presented by the UNCG Historical Society

Have you ever wondered where all of those scary stories you’ve heard come from? Do you want to hear about crazy, scary, and just plain weird people throughout history? You’re in the right place. Join us as Dr. Jill Bender of the History department, Ms. Kathelene Smith of the University Archives department, and Ms. Caitlin Saraphis of the History Department take us through interesting and exciting eras of history and horror movie culture where you’ll hear some scary stories and learn more about their roots. Refreshments will be served after the panel. Sponsored by the UNCG Department of History.

The New Bern Historical Society is presenting their annual Ghostwalk: New Bern, NC Ghostwalk 2011, October 27-29 – The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. New Bern’s ghosts will explain how they saw history unfold, good, bad and ugly, from the 18th to 20th centuries. See denizens of the past throughout historic New Bern October 27-29, 2011 in New Bern’s 21st annual Ghostwalk.
