I’m continuing to push on in the revision of county information. I think I’m in the downhill stretch…. Iredell, Jackson, Johnston, and Jones Counties all saw updates this afternoon. So you should be able to find a bit more detailed info now on their respective pages.

Counties starting with the letter “H” now have been updated. That means Halifax, Harnett, Haywood, Henderson, Hertford, Hoke, and Hyde Counties all have more detailed information and links now.

Thanks again to randomgenealogy.com he has found a place like ebay only for used genealogy books. Listing is free it says and they specialize in genealogy books and publications. Looks like a great resource.

Now, in dealing with genealogy the term news might be ambiguous (it might refer to discovering something that happened 200 years ago.) I’ve moved on through the alphabet and finished with the revision of counties starting with the letter D, so everything up to and including Durham county has been revised.
