His actual last name at birth was BUMGARNER, but his father died before William Ray was very old, so William Ray took on the last name of his stepfather, Parker WYKE. Query: Need info on Ambrose Williams, born abt. 1725/30 in Wales. Married Jane INMAN and Mary MOOR. Marriage date before 1770 in NC. I think most of the 6 kids listed were born in NC. Query: I am seeking any and all information on a Joseph Abrel Washburn. Born: July 17, 1800, Died: July 25, 1874. Believed to have lived in and around the area that is now Rockingham County North Carolina. Married to Sally Malloy, and had a son named Joseph Daniel Washburn. Joseph Daniel Washburn was Born: 1866 and Died: 1935. On December 27, 1881 he was married in Rockingham County North Carolina to Virginia Alice Strader.
