Hezekiah Alexander homesite tours

The Charlotte Museum of History gives tours of the Historic Hezekiah Alexander homesite "10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sunday, homesite tours 1:15 and 3:15 p.m. weekdays, 1:15, 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. weekends. 3500 Shamrock Drive." According to The Charlotte Observer.



The homesite is the oldest surviving structure in Mecklenburg County and dates from 1774. The homesite, kitchen and springhouse are on the same property as the Charlotte Museum of History. Admission is $3 for Ages 6-12, $5 for Seniors (65 and older) and students and $6 for other adults. Sundays they have free admission for families.
