I have been trying to link my g.g.grandfather, John B. Linton to N.C. All of his genealogical info has him born 1815, N.C. He arrived in Coffee Co., Tn. about 1855 so I suspect he was in N.C. during this time frame. Possible he is a son of Michael, Burrage H., Luke or John Linton. John B. (1815) married either Nancy Powers or Nancy Bullock. Thank you, Bob Taylor.
