I am searching for ancestors in Northampton County, NC. My great great great grandmother Emma was a slave of Matthew Ransom (wife Martha "Patty" Exum). She was a slave of Exum's and went with Martha when she married Matt Ransom. Some of her children were Daniel, Mary, and Ned.
