John Stephens, my 5th great grandfather, I am looking for proof that he served in the Revolution. There are three or four John Stephens that served...trying to find the correct one. He later moved to South Carolina where he died in the Pendleton District.

What was his wife Name? John Stephen born N.C. but none died in S.C. Some Ga. N.c and Tenn.
