Looking for any information about this person, who was my Great,Great, Great, Great Grandfather. He owned a home in the Hillsbourgh District of Coleridge, Randolph County, North Carolina from about the mid 1850's until?
In 1927, a family named Brown was living there, family story was that they were relatives and that the home had stayed in the family at least until then. No one bothered to write down the address and I don't know how to go about finding it out. If anyone can help with this, I'd be very grateful. I have hit the brick wall with this as I've been hunting up cousins hoping to find someone with some concrete, source proven material, with no luck.
