Members I am researching a man named Talton Basket (or Baskett) born around 1816, listed as Race "Black", possibly a slave belonging to Pleasant Baskett. Talton's wife was listed as Maranda (last name may have been Moore). Anyone seen any history on either Talton or Maranda ?

Talton Basket is my 3rd Great Grandfather. I have been researching the family for a few years now. Based on my research, Pleasant Basket (or Baskett) not only was Talton's owner, but may have also been his father.

Then you and I are related. With that being said has your research turn up any information on who Talton's mother was ?
