I am looking for information on my great-great- grandmother Cloddy Smith of Smiths, Robeson County, N.C. and relatives.

My Smiths from NC were part of the Lumber River Scots. John Smith , wife Margrett, son Malcolm,and daughter came from Scotland in mid 1700s . Landing in Cape Fear. ome of them moved to Alabama Wilcox county, Neal Mckay Smith my gg grandfather was killed there in 1849. GG grandfather Charles Mckay moved to Tx around 1878-80. He died in 1890 of smallpox several members of his family died around same time. From alabama some of his family settled in Mississippi and all over I have all the names and birthdates if this might be part of your family. Not that it matters but my smiths are white
