ISO any connection to Thomas Conner or Edward Conner. The info on Thomas is sketchy. Married to Lucretia. Patented land on the Cape Fear River (then called N.W. river) in 1735.
An Edward Conner arrived in 1739 with the Highlanders from Argyle, Scotland and then patented land in 1740 near Thomas Conner's patent. He was married to Lucretia, had one son, who was named Thomas in 1750. In 1760, Edward died, leaving a will with many details. We have good records from Thomas (1750 - 1783) to present, but cannot find anything about Thomas (the one who patented the property in 1735) or where Edward (d 1760) came from.
