I am looking for information on George Washington Tucker who apparently was born in Nutbush, Warren County, NC in 1796. According to my information he married Priscilla Newman who was the daughter of Daniel Newman and Obedience White.
He was the father of John Daniel Tucker who was my great-grandfather and also born in Warren Co NC in 1817. John married Frances Watkins in 1841 in Warren Co.
I have reached a dead end in tracing him further back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
