ISO information about the Conner Family. Thomas arrived in 1735 and patented land in what was then Bladen County. Edward followed in 1739 (we think) with Argyle Highlanders, and patented land in 1740. Edward (m. Lucretia) had one son, who he named Thomas (1750 - 1783), and then died in 1760.
We have good records from Thomas (1750 - 1783) onwards, but cannot find where Thomas came from, or where Edward came from. BTW, have looked in Argyle, Scotland records and he doesn't show up there . . . probably came over from Ireland and got on the boat before it departed.
