Looking for substantive information about the family of Thomas Capps born in the first quarter of 18th century, possibly in North Carolina, but he may have been the immigrant. I am looking for documentation of land, children, spouse. A person with this name is on the 1775-76 Bute County oath of allegiance list and on the 1790 NC Census in Hyde County, next to Richard Capps.
I am looking for any information about some Parkers that moved from NC around 1820s. The family included:
John Rhodes “Jack” PARKER (8 Oct 1808 NC – 7 Oct 1884 Franklin Co., MS), Elihu Winston PARKER (1820 NC – 1867 Amite Co., MS), Henry Parsons PARKER (Abt 1811 NC – 6 Jan 1867 Amite Co., MS), and Frances Catherine PARKER (Abt 1812 NC – 1843/1847 Amite Co., MS),
The father’s name may have been David but I am not sure at this point. Any help would be appreciated.
I believe he lived in Johnston County. Born around 1844. Father of James William Lee. I am looking for information on his children and his parents.
I am looking for information regarding an Edmund Ira Bailey who I believe was born about 1775 in North Carolina, I know that he went on to marry Lydia D Mullins and had children one of whom was William W. Bailey which is what lists his father in his biography, but NO information on any parentsof edmund, specific place of birth or actual birth year. If anyone has come across this name please please let me know.

I am also a descendant of Rev. Joel Rivers (buried in Claiborne, Alabama). He was my grandfather, five generations back). I would love to correspond with any of his descendants to compare what information we have on him and his family line here in Alabama. Rev. Joel is buried not far from where I live in a beautiful bend of the Alabama River. I have visited his grave several times. Kay Rivers Paul
Hi-Looked up your query in “Lest We Forget-An Index to Avery Co Cemeteries” by Martha Pyatte, 1975 and found a Robert D. GREENE, born 1856, died 1898, buried in Montezuma Cemetery. Hope this is your guy, in case you haven’t already located the info.

GREENE, Corda; born Jan 30, 1886; d May 17, 1904

This was my grandmother and I am trying to do a family tree. She is lived in Kenansville NC, Duplin County. She was married to Stephen Summerlin. Any information on either grandparent would be helpful.
Since this is a 2 yr. old email, hope this gets to you. I have an ancestor, Daniel Meadows, born in Georgia in 1782. Names of parents, who came from N.C. unknown. Supposedly, Meadows family was Scotch-Irish, who came first to Virgiia. After N.C., they settled in Burke Co. Georgia (a burned co.). They were also in adjoining co. of Jefferson Co. Georgia. They are not from the same family as Daniel Meadows of Granville, who came to Ga. about the same time and settled in Greene Co. Georgia. Family name of James was repeated often. His son was James Randall Meadows. Could your Jacob have been in Ga. before 1782 when Daniel was born? A census states that Daniel was definitely born in Ga. in 1782– so Dad would have had to have been there by then, I would think.
