wiliam jones rankin was the statesville area of north carolina. welll education negro minister. who was a synod of catawba. a moderator. had adopted a daughter named teresa rankin who later married booker t. blue. they had 5 live children…one named eddie lee blue, elizabeth blue, inez, another daughter my mom, booker t blue jr. dr rankin opened a nd wife a parochial school for negroes in 1896 to 1932 in aberdeen north carolina. he pastored various churches….he dies in 1932 in graham, nc. the death certificated state so. he mothers name was isabella gillespie rankin but the death certificate states isabella patterson so maybe she remarries. seeking information on these persons of interest. i am his great granddaughter-teresa rankin blues ggranddaughter and booker blue sr-the same- help turn on the lights
